Sensory Integration Therapy
Sensory integration therapy aims to help kids with sensory processing issues (which some people may refer to as “sensory integration disorder”) by exposing them to sensory stimulation in a structured, repetitive way. The theory behind it is that over time, the brain will adapt and allow kids to process and react to sensations more efficiently. (understood.org).
We provide a routine of different activites for each child based on their sensitivity (or lack of sensitivity). These activities help a child whether their sensitivity is:
-- Noise based
-- Tactile
-- Taste
-- Visual
Call us today and find out how we can help tune your child's senses. You will be impressed with the results!
