Bridgett Dimant is the owner and founder of Metamorphosis Therapy, LLC. She started Metamorphosis after working as a speech-language pathologist in the pediatric setting for many years and has  been working with children with autism spectrum disorder for over 25 years She is extremely passionate about helping these children “transform” with the proper therapy services.  

 She is a firm believer in the power of Early Intervention and has worked extremely hard to build a team who share her commitment and vision." She was awarded her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 1996.  She went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Communicative Disorders from California State University Northridge in December of 2001.  She is a certified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist and a Registered Behavior Technician. 

She is a mother of three beautiful children, her oldest a freshman at the University of Central Florida. Bridgett enjoys shopping, boating/fishing and spending relaxing quality time with family in her free time,

Stephanie has worked for Metamorphosis Therapy for over a year working with the Applied Behavior Analysis Team! Stephanie graduated from West Orange High School in 2014 and studied at Valencia College. Stephanie discovered her passion for supporting families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2018. In early 2019, she received her certification from the Behavioral Analysis Board. Stephanie has enjoyed the opportunity to help children grow and come alongside these sweet families to improve the lives of their children. She also enjoys taking trips to the gorgeous Florida beaches and practicing calligraphy in her free time!

Karen Garcia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in 2011 and her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology in 2014. In her time as a Behavior Analyst, she has provided ABA services to both children and adults with a variety of developmental disabilities in the in-home, clinic-based and community settings. She has developed experience implementing a wide-range of assessments, creating and implementing effective behavior plans consisting of acquisition and problem behavior reduction goals, conducting parent and staff training sessions, and participating in research to assess the effectiveness of procedures used in the ABA field. Karen has experience in teaching behavior analysis college courses through her position as a Co-Instructor for the Applied Behavior Analysis program at Florida Institute of Technology. Karen is using her passion for behavior analysis to teach and supervise registered behavior technicians and individuals seeking their certification.

Cheryl Mae wanted to become a pediatric occupational therapist since she was in 10th grade and believes whole-heartedly in a child-directed and family-centered approach to care. She strives to identify and implement a child’s strengths and motivations to improve their deficits through occupation and play-based therapy. 

She received her Bachelors in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Fitness & Wellness from The University of Florida and proceeded to procure her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University-Tampa. 

Cheryl Mae is a registered and licensed occupational therapist through the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Florida Occupational Therapy Association (FOTA) of which she served as a writer (FOCUS article author) and board member (Website coordinator) in past years.

She completed her Field work training and doctoral residency at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital- Palm Harbor and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children/Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Infants respectively and gained valuable knowledge in research based care/approaches and interventions including but not limited to Ayres Sensory integration, sensory processing/regulation diets, Astronaut training/Therapeutic Listening program (Certified), Handwriting Without Tears techniques, Interactive Metronome techniques, Perception-Action motor learning techniques, Kinesiology taping, Visual perception/motor development and Feeding therapy. Her skill set and knowledge base stems from her passion and drive for the profession of occupational therapy.

Megan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults with special needs in a variety of settings. Megan graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Human Services from Elizabethtown College in 2017 and her Masters of Arts in Exceptional Student Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida in 2019. She has experience using a variety of assessment tools and is PEAK-level 1 certified. Megan also holds a crisis expert instructor certification through the Professional Crisis Management Association. She especially enjoys parent training as she believes this is the bridge to increasing success and creating long lasting change. Megan utilizes her variety of experiences, enthusiasm, and knowledge to help each child reach their full potential.  In her free time Megan enjoys lifting weights and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading classic novels and spending time around horses whenever she can!

Marisa is a Registered Behavior Technician and has been in the field since 2015. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She holds a certification in professional crisis management. She has worked in a variety of settings such as in home, in schools, and in clinic. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, doing aerial yoga, and hanging out with her two cats.
